I was recently given the opportunity to try Skin Free skincare products. Skin Free products are 100% natural. They contain no harmful chemicals, no petroleum products and no colorants. They are also cruelty free. There were specifically formulated by a pharmacist for people with sensitive skin, allergies and those who suffer from dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema.
I have sensitive, blemish prone skin and was excited to give these products a try. I liked the idea that these products were natural. Often, in my attempt to deal with blemishes I will sacrifice natural for something that just works. Well, I discovered that with Skin Free products natural products can work too. I've used these products for over a week and have noticed an overall improvement in my skin. It is softer, smoother and more radiant looking.
I loved the Extra Moisturizing Soap. It created a rich, creamy lather that left my skin feeling clean and soft. There was no residue left on my skin afterwards. I also didn't feel the need to moisturize my skin after showering. The soap had already taken care of that.
The Lite Moisture for Blemish Prone Skin is my favorite product of the three I tried. Not only do I have to deal with blemishes as an adult, I'm also at an age when I also have to deal with wrinkles. I've been searching for a product that properly moisturizes my skin without leaving it feeling greasy or causing break outs for literally years. I finally found it in this product. The first time I used this product I couldn't believe how soft and smooth my skin felt. Within just a couple of days I began to notice an improvement in the overall look of my skin and well as fewer breakouts. I love this product. The only thing I did not like about this product was that it does contain vanilla fragrance. However, the fragrance is very subtle. The fragrance does not bother me but I would prefer that it be fragrance free like most of the other Skin Free products. However, that would not deter me from continuing to use this great product.
The final product I tried was the Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub. You will have to stir this product as the ingredients separate as the sugar settles in the container. I really like how soft and smooth this product left my skin. It worked well at smoothing out rough spots on my elbows, knees and feet. I did find this product to be a bit too greasy for my skin even after I had rinsed it off with the Extra Moisturizing Soap as recommended on the packaging. I think this product would work better if you have extremely dry skin or during winter months when skin tends to be very dry.
I also found the Skin Free products to be quite affordable. They are also quite easy to find. You can purchase them directly through the Skin Free website but they can also be found at cvs.com, drugstore.com and walgreens.com. They can also be purchased at specific CVS stores on the east coast as well as over 2500 Walgreens stores. When you purchase directly from the Skin Free website, you get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.
Skin Free has generously offered to give one of my readers a $30 Gift Certificate to try Skin Free products.
